Your community image is a representation of it’s residents. The Homeowner’s Association and the Management Company need everyone’s help in order to maintain a safe and attractive community which will, in turn, increase property values.

paint_logo PAINTING AND PRESSURE CLEANING

The time has come for many homes to be pressure cleaned and painted in order to maintain our beautiful community. Please remember that an Architectural Modification Request must be submitted to paint your house and it can only be painted with one of the 5 “color schemes” approved by  the Association. You may use  any  vendor of your choice but please make sure that they are licensed and insured. Below you will find the names of three licensed painting and pressure cleaning companies that have been used in the past with good results and have agreed to give a special price to the homeowners of Corsica at Islands at Doral.

This is for your convenience only. You are not required to use these companies. Please act promptly to avoid violations. Take the opportunity to assess other needs in your house such as  cleaning your roof and driveway,  clean or paint the wood fence, etc. as most vendors will not charge much to include these jobs while they are painting.

The Association requests everyone’s help in bringing our community to the highest standards and make discriminating buyers single out Corsica at Islands at Doral as one of the best places to live in Doral.  

While walking the community we have encountered several violations to the association documents that are common to many houses in the community. We are giving everyone the opportunity to avoid a violation letter and possible fines.

These simple steps can make a great difference in the outlook of our community:

  • Please store all garbage and recycling bins away from public view. There is nothing that takes away more from your beautiful homes than these big and unattractive bins sitting in front of the properties.
  • Roofs must be cleaned every 2 or 3 years. Most roofs in the community are in need of cleaning at the moment. Roof fascia boards must also be cleaned and/or painted.
  • Many fences are also in need of upkeep. They  must be cleaned/painted and properly aligned. Some gates need fixing or replacing. (Changing or painting fences requires Association approval).
  • Driveways must be pressure cleaned regularly and kept free of stains and weed.
  • Landscaping provides great curb appeal. Please maintain your yard mowed and free of weeds; Replace dead or missing plants and trim hedges as needed.

All pets as per Miami Dade Ordinance shall have their rabies shots up to date and shall be walked on a leash. Owners must clean up after their dogs.  Please do not leave pet food outside as this attracts frogs, rodents and other pests.

No changes of any kind may be made to the exterior of the units without prior approval from the Association. This includes painting the house and fence as well as modifications to the façade or patio. Landscaping changes also require Association approval as well as sculptures, fountains, play structures or decorative items when visible from the outside. (Please contact Doral Management to obtain the proper forms)
